These guidelines are a set of rules for our Community. We want this space to be safe and inclusive for all members. Please refer to these guidelines to understand the do's and don'ts. Reminder: these guidelines are an integral part of the Portal’s Terms and Conditions, which you have to accept in order to create a Portal account.

📜 Rules

Communicate with courtesy and respect 😇

Please treat others online as you would treat them in real life - be polite and considerate. When your opinions do not align, be tolerant towards others’ viewpoints. No bullying, harassment, sexism, racism, or hate speech will be tolerated. Sexual language and imagery are never appropriate. Cursing is not adequate in this forum, please save it for another circumstance.

Stay relevant to the topic 🎯

Always keep your posts and comments constructive and relevant to the topic. If you have a new question, start a new thread rather than interrupting an unrelated conversation. While certain sections allow sharing personal experiences (e.g. the Introduce yourself section), generally stay on the topics of open source, Debricked, and the Cyber security industry.

No doxxing or Fake IDs 🃏

You get to choose which of your personal information is shared publicly and it is strictly prohibited to post or threaten to post other people’s personal identifiable information. Do not post on behalf of someone else, real or fictional.

No selling 💰

We are all in for showing off a bit by sharing your knowledge on the topics discussed, that is the power of a community, right? But spamming and solicitation in the community are prohibited. If you believe your services could be beneficial to this forum, please reach out to the community managers or write an email to success@debricked.com and we will review it.

Keep confidential information confidential 🔐

Please use good judgment when creating content or interacting with others. Do not share any intellectual property or confidential information from your company or anyone else’s without their consent. As a reminder, most spaces in this community are public which means that once you post your content, it becomes publicly visible and we are not responsible for keeping it confidential.

🚨Breaking any of the rules will result in a warning or a ban. If you witness behaviours that go against our guidelines please reach out to one of the community managers and/or flag the content on the platform 🚨
